It’s a big week.
First off, Coredivers is off to my beta readers, with an expected return date of the end of October. So that book should be coming out probably around the beginning of next year. It’s the sequel to Dropnauts and I’m so excited to finally share it with you.
Second, we’re getting ready to head to WorldCon next week. We will be there for the full con, and Liminal Fiction will have a table in the dealer’s room, featuring:

- BJ Sikes
- G.B. Lindsey
- Kim Fielding
- John & Susan Ruff
And Kim and I will be previewing in paperback our second book in the Chaos and Order series, Search For the Lost. Crispin and Leopold are off on another excellent adventure, and this time there’s a little Freaky Friday action.
But I saved my biggest news for last. I have a new job!
And not just any job. Following up on the contract job I had with SFWA to run Nebula Con last year, I am now SFWA’s official events coordinator, meaning I will be running Nebula Con again next year and also managing the author enrichment series Constellation, which takes place four times a year online.
It’s the culmination of my search for a new job that began almost three years ago, and I am thrilled to have landed a job in SFF!
This is going to bring some big changes. It’s a part-time position, so I will still have time to run a number of our sites, and will still be writing, but things are going to have to be shuffled around to make it all work.
I’ll keep you up-to-date as the process plays out.
My first official day at SFWA is Thursday, so wish me luck! I’t’s been time for a change for a long time’ve been stuck for so long, and can hardly believe that change is finally here!
